Our Standards
Showharborpulsa is dedicated to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance or physical ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Clear Text Contrast: We use a high-contrast graphite, steel blue, and clean white colour palette to ensure text remains highly readable.
- Descriptive ALT Attributes: All images, diagrams, and illustrative blocks include descriptive alternative text for screen readers.
- Semantic Markup: We use appropriate header tags (<h1>, <h2>, etc.) and semantic sections to help assistive tools interpret page structure logically.
- Keyboard Navigation: All menus, links, form inputs, and interactive tabs are structured to allow tab-key and arrow navigation.
Ongoing Work
We recognize that maintaining accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly check our page flows, form layouts, and interactive components to ensure compatibility with modern assistive technologies. If you notice any areas where accessibility could be improved, please let us know through our general enquiry form.
